Yes! Bill Alps is designed, developed and hosted entirely in Switzerland. The company behind it — WAP Sàrl — is based in the canton of Fribourg, more precisely in Domdidier. We are committed to Swiss quality and data sovereignty.
Where is my data stored? +
All your data is stored in Switzerland, in compliance with the new Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP). We take privacy seriously and never share your information with third parties.
How do I create an account? +
It takes less than a minute. You can sign up with your email address, your Google account, or your LinkedIn account — no credit card required for the free plan.
Can I switch from another invoicing solution? +
Absolutely. You can import your existing client data and start creating invoices right away. The interface is intuitive and designed to be easy to pick up even if you have never used invoicing software before.
Can I cancel anytime? Can I export my data? +
Yes to both. There is no lock-in and no cancellation fee. You can export all your data (clients, invoices, reports) at any time in standard CSV format or in other standard formats on request. Your data belongs to you.
What is a Swiss QR-Bill? +
The QR-Bill is the Swiss standard for payment slips since 2022. It replaces the old orange and red payment slips (BVR/ESR). Every invoice in Switzerland should now include a QR code that contains all payment information, making it easy for your clients to pay via their banking app. Bill Alps generates compliant QR-Bills automatically.
